Proof that it all happened.
Growing up, family albums were always close by. Pages filled with gatherings, summer afternoons, familiar faces and stories from moments I lived - and others that existed before me. Every time I returned to them, I felt transported. As if, for a second, I could step inside those memories and feel them all over again.
As if i was right there.
There is something about those albums I can't get out of my head, and over the years it slowly shaped the way I see photography.
My goal is not just documenting a wedding, I want to preserve the feeling of being there.
Because to me, photography is more than memory.
It is a way of holding onto the people and moments we love most.
A story, honestly told, that never truly ends.
Today, my work is rooted in creating images that feel alive. Photographs that allow you to return not only to how everything looked, but to how it felt. The quiet intimacy, the movement, the emotion, the atmosphere - the moments that often go unnoticed while they are happening, yet become the most meaningful with time.
My approach to photography is deeply instinctive. I am guided by light, movement, conversation and emotion - inspired by fashion, nature and the beauty of everyday moments.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
My name is Raquel (she/her), and I’m so glad you are here.
I’m from Vitoria, a cold town in the Basque Country in northern Spain. Although I’ve spent all my summers in the south, which I guess has shaped a lot of my preferred rhythm. I love spending hours on the beach of Cabo de Gata, hot summer nights, long walks, shell picking, slow conversations, writing, reading, a good streach session. The kind of things you need when it’s too hot to move fast.
I’ve always lived in big cities, and that has also shaped the way I like spending my time. Madrid and Brussels have been my home while developing my career, tastes, and goals. Fashion, photography, movies, and graphic design have been the fuel that led me to where I am today professionally.
My photography is inspired by all these worlds I live in, and driven by the obsession of keeping forever close everyone and everything that has accompanied me.
